I knew a boy
no one else could see.
He was invisible,
except to only me.

He liked to be anonymous,
hidden amongst the crowd.
His silent eyes
told everything,
his voice never spoke out loud.

I first saw him
in such a crowd,
standing tall and alone,
invisible
to all `round, when
the screams in his eyes shone.

With his sad eyes
he showed me, when
we played in my basement,
scars on his arms.
The reminders
of his own punishment.

Then, no longer
invisible,
held in wings of HIS dove...
as my touch healed
scars of his heart.
Screams of pain turned to love.

I knew a boy
no one else could see.
He was invisible,
except to only me.
