Wow, you're fantasising about actual justice and equality in the workplace? That is too far-fetched even for this website. Next will you be fantasising that he manages to give her full credit for all of her prior experience and calls all of her references without any of them misgendering her, deadnaming her, mansplaining everything or saying anything stupid to hurt her chances? A girl can dream, I suppose.

Nonetheless, it does feel really weird to read a story about an employment interview that neither explains what the job entails nor what abilities the applicant has to offer.

I loved the twist at the end.
