The writing is basically good here and the storyline has enough novelty to engage the reader, but the underlying idea is too simple, i.e. using drugs to get laid. One is starting with a strong foundation, apparently sane characters and a mechanism to take them to almost any imaginable situation. The special element is that the mechanism does not require pain or any of the BDSM stuff. If this is a set up for future series of adventures of some sort, then there is an opportunity for some novel and intereting stories and there are readers who will welcome a sequel. Success will, however, need more interpersonal develoment and character development. Who are these people and should we like them or trust them or enourage them? So far, the use of dialogue is done well and so we have the tools. Good start.
