Utagaki: "Closely associated with harvest rites, and therefore fertility, these events often also led into much free sexual activity." Just forget the poems, wait for the sake to hit and join the mob.
I know it's not the same, I was just reminded, and from what I heard it happens to other guys. His pace her pace; His expectations, her expectations; his language and hers what turns him on and what turns her of.
All I know about gaki is what I read in the thread (thanks). I know little more about semiotics. This girl might be too verbal for our guy. He did not realize she actually gave him an opening there (pun intended).
This poem was mentioned in the Archival Review thread, in a picking through Lit's archive of over 36,500 poems.
