Darkness In Me

bytheoncomingstorm©

If you could see the darkness in me you'd run for cover and flee.
I'm the monster that haunts your dreams but I'm the one who needs setting free.
I try to hide my inner beast but it must come out to feast.
When it's loose even I live in fear so this is your warning: don't come near.
My bloody fangs will rip you apart if I sense impurity in your heart.
We all have our sin so we careful hidden one who you let in.
The darkness inside of me sees the darkness you keep under lock and key.
You can run all you want but you can't hide, the beast in you no longer can reside.
Flee in fear under cover of night but be careful for I don't play in the light.
I'll sneak up on you when you least expect me and that will be the end of your brutality.
The black hole in me is famished dear so you better run away in fear.
It's time the feed the darkness in me... Watch out I'm setting my monster free.
