Love it. That ending is so obviously filled with sexual connotations, it must mean loss of bladder control. Forgot that truism to go with the first impression ~ it is sexual!
I grinned all the way thru this! I've never sky dived, nor have I ever had a hard on in the classic sense... But when I first started building bridges I got some very erotic weird feelings goin on inside me! Being scared has always been a turn on for me; it's nice to see I'm not alone! Thanks!
This poem is mentioned in the New Poems thread on the forum.
But laughing out loud never gave me a hard on! This wasn't a tandem jump, was it?
this was a great read-- yeah familiar warmth between the legs did not give me a hard on kind of feeling either, but damn, you should do advertising for the international sky jumping association
This is a fun read. I like the subtitles. Tell us about
the landing. The familiar warmth - are you sure it wasn't
coming out the other end? good JOB
takes a special man to get a hard on facing death.
I am not one of them.
I loved this verse:
~Icarisian fool
hot wax drips
from your arms~
That's my view of skydiving.
Nice work even with the misunderstood ending
...the "familiar warmth between my legs" was a more climatic, sexual thing. I did, in fact, get a hardon the first time. The obvious meaning was serendipity, and never struck me until later... (Duh!) Blame it on that silly-bitch muse of mine.
or maybe not considering the cirumstance. Full of imagery that grabs the senses--I felt as if I were there with you, and then well...you peed, lol. Good stuff, jd. :)
