Give me one last sweet memory.
Before you shatter my dreams.
Give me one last sweet moment to store in my heart.
Before you rip my hopes at the seams.

Give me one last smile to have.
Before the tears come flooding out of my eyes.
Give me one last happy thought.
Before my laughter is turned into sighs.

Let my soul feel whole one last time.
Before it's shredded into eternity.
Let my heart feel like a part of yours once more.
Before it shatters on the floor in front of me.

Let my body feel your touch one more time.
Before the coldness replaces your warmth.
Let me feel your love surrounding me again.
Before air takes the place of your arms.

Let me hear you say, "I love you."
Before it's replaced by the voices of the past.
Whisper sweet nothings in my ear once more.
Before the shadow falls over me that you have cast.

Without you, my blood runs freely.
I no longer have a reason to stop the cascade.
My soul is dead ceasing my aching heart.
In your abscence, a lifeless body is what is left in the wake.
