thanks for the journey
I loved your poem, of course I love boats, ski, fishing and race but also the write, the imagry was clear and the excitement built to a wonderful coast to the end.
Fabulous Poem~
I've never understood the passion for rowing, but, as always when I read your poetry, I am right there with you, striving for every yard, searching for that extra bit of perfection, just because you know you can find it.
Thanks for the moment in your shoes.
The Earl
Good peom, although I do have to correct you on one count. The "Swirling green depths" gives you the impression of a beautiful tropical lagoon. Oh no no no. Not even in Scotland. "Murky brown shallows" is closer to the truth, do you not think? You will when you fall in and one of the pike eat you anyway:P
