Sitting by the dark window, I see thunder rolling in
I pause wondering what the thunder is thinking:
"Why am I here?"
"I will strike those who harmed me down"
"Hear me, and get lost in me"

Thunder's a beautiful force to be reckoned with,
Its calamity calms me so;
I wish you were here to take me away from my troubles & fears
Even if it was just a little a while.

Be my answer I've been searching for
let me stay lost in your powerful embrace;
so all I can hear is you rumbling my name.
