Brrr...

I should have waited until I had my snowsuit on to read this poem. The images were so real. But right now its -21c here so anything makes me cold...haha.

Listening to your body in extreme zones

Rhymefairy, you wrote: “sadness floated up and grabbed my throat” I loved your line (how about a poem on the basis of this line?), but not only could not find it in the poem I could not find the sadness either. I know that the standard interpretation is: Subject tears but denies crying --> Subject is really crying; Subject denies sadness --> Subject is definitely sad. But some times a tear in minus 21 degrees could be just a tear. I found it a real winter poem not overburdened by sentimentalism, but rich wit winter observations. Refreshing and different.

Nicely open to interpretation whether crying or suffering with wind induced tears. Though here I suspect it's really about crying.
