Small is good!

There is an old philosophy among the Japanese on the art of haiku, that in one's life they should write one perfect haiku. While this isn't a haiku, it is a great example of saying much in few... kind of like the dying art of listening, REALLY listening! Enjoyed this!

Meditative expression...

of inner perception.

Where the adage...

"less is more" applies. This was a seed pearl of a poem, Du! As always with zen poetry, to capture the tranquility is the thing, and in this instance, you did it in such few, but meaningful words. Reading it almost put Me to sleep! Oh, not out of boredom, but out of pure peaceful serenity. <yawning, but smiling> Thank you Du for the zen lullabye.

I admit

that I need to read this several more times to absorb it. I'm nonabsorbent early in the day. :)
