When you take a walk inside my mind,
You never know what you'll find.
You may see only empty air,
Or you may find a friend in there.
No one knows what takes up the space,
In the cavity behind my face.
You might find a moonlit beach on a starry night,
Or a stark white room filled with blinding light.
Whatever the case, please come inside.
You'll soon see, I have nothing to hide.
I'll show it all, if you'll stay for a while.
You will see sights sure to bring a smile.
I tell you now, not everything here is good,
There are things which will never be understood.
So, step into this field of spongy earth,
And chase my dreams for all you're worth.
For, once you catch one in your hand,
You will slowly begin to understand.
You need more in life than a beautiful face,
A beautiful mind can be your saving grace.
