The fear of being abanded is strong in many, but can he really be that heartless? If he loved her you would include a passage where we know she becomes a immortal too, but you didn't. Either this is a mistake in my misunderstanding of your story, or he is heartless, and you have issues of being abanded by love. Is this a premenition? This is all very unclear and murky, because they're are different possibilities and conclusions to this piece of literature. Is this meant to confuse us? This is more a story than a poem. Sorry to say. Then again some argue that poems are more poetic stories. Arrrgghh! The insanity and my innability to comprehend this are driving me up the wall! What happens? Vampire? Dead? Premonition? WHICH ONE!!! Or does she simply fear being left by her lover? Good job on beffudling me! This is quite a kerfuffle! Add insanity to my virginity and I'm good to go!
