You have a wonderful way with words, but you couldn't say anything nicer than that!

Am working my way (slowly) through your poems. Like the style & will comment more when I have read more.

This could be expanded into a very fine prose story. As it is, it has more depth of plot and character than 98% of the stories. Different limitations would apply in achieving flow, characterisation and shape.

Downside is that it would fit into 'Loving Wives' where the comments can be horrible in the extreme.
