behind this poem, having daughters myself. But Savage doesn't world peace mean not killing anyone?

But I do not undersatnd this:

Let's nuke them! Let's blow them to kingdom come...but people...please...let's

not kill another of our own.

How does nuking them serve world peace?

but I have to agree with everyone else...the end kind of kills the sweet Daddy image wanting to make his daughter happy...delete the last few lines & you will sound like a loving father again instead of a want-to-be warmonger hiding behind a false illusion of peace...
