As I said that, I stopped and got down on one knee. I looked up into her eyes and I could see that, at last, she knew what I was getting ready to say.
"Miss Sarah, I would consider myself to be the luckiest guy on the earth if you would be my wife. Will you marry me?"
She began crying and they were obviously tears of joy. "I consider myself to be the luckiest girl on earth because you asked me to marry you. Yes, yes, yes, of course I'll marry you."
As soon as she said yes, I reached into my pocket and retrieved an engagement ring. She held her hand out and I placed the ring on her finger. "Please accept this as a token of my love for you. I promise you that my love for you will never end."
". . . and when we have babies, each of them will be a reminder of our love. And I hope that we'll start havin' babies as soon as we're married," she replied.
And so began our life together. Gretchen blew a gasket and moved away with a woman who I suspected to be her lesbian lover. Miss Sarah and I had a wedding which was attended by most of our family and friends, although some chose to express their disdain for our choice by boycotting the event. Of course, those people were crossed off of our Christmas card list.
Eventually, we had three children, two boys and a girl. Miss Sarah is a wonderfully devoted wife and mother and I am a devoted and faithful husband. Sometimes our children complain about being woken in the middle of the night by noises coming from the direction of our bedroom. Miss Sarah has continued to be extremely uninhibited in the bedroom, but our adventures never involve sex with others or being watched by others. When we have sex, it's not fucking; it's love, it's beautiful, and it's a private thing. If you've ever truly been in love, you understand.

goducks1about 6 years agoi'm glad i didn't have to wait so long from start to finish!!! i thought the sex scenes were great, loved the long tease, and i'm a sucker for a nice happy ending!!! i hope you keep writing!!

It felt a little too fantasy-like for me (even on this site) and although I quite enjoyed it, the "cathartic" ending you engineered to close out the series was a little disappointing. But I do appreciate that this tale was based on your experience of unrequited desire so was difficult for you to finish and close off, so thank you for the closure and the tale.

Anonymousabout 9 years agoI totally understand your dropping off on writing the stories for a while. I remember when I fell In Love, that very first time. Unrequited love is a wondrous, hopeful, painful heap of misery! Heh. We never got together, and even if we had I knew it would be a different kind of painful since I knew what kind of person she really was. Her poor dumbass husband that she married still to this day doesnt know who he married. Wonder if she ever quit fucking guys behind his back? Hell she was fucking two different guys while she was dating him, that I knew of, no telling if there were others! She has a parcel of kids now, maybe they keep her too busy to fuck around now, hehe. ....sad to fall in love with a lying, cheating nymphomaniac, eh? ...just as well though, I couldnt handle having a bunch of kids!
I had written about it later, or started writing about it... Just made it worse instead of clearing it out of my head, so I had to just walk away from it all mentally. I hardly ever think about it anymore. Met a great woman that I love and got married, took a while but After a time I fell in love with her as well.
Its really hard trying to explain the difference between loving a woman and being in love with a woman to someone who has never been in love. I just dont think you can understand it until it happens to you. The sad part is that so many have never been truly in love but think they have, and its easy to spot them.

It is upsetting when you can't act on it and this story I feel really helped me. It's the best I've ever read thank you so much
