This was a short but enjoyable fantasy. It might have been a bit more realistic if the story had provided more motivation for both partners. This might involve more detailed descriptions of the long term attraction that they had both shown to each other, and/or both people having marital problems and feeling that the other spouse was in the wrong and that this somehow made the adultery acceptable.

However, a fantasy can be a fantasy without needing to be completely realistic and alcohol does tend to lower inhibitions.
