All Comments on 'Alien of the Family'

Loved the story, I just have one small quibble. I'm a louisiana native. I can assure you, we have no basements. At all. Attics and small sheds built outside the houses are used for storage. The ground here is too soft and there is too much water. Any basement built in this state, especially the southern portions where the bulk of the swamps and marshes are, would flood, collapse, or simply shift the foundations of the house so much the entire house would collapse. I know, it's a tin technical detail, I just thought I'd offer some advice to expand the believability and realism of the story.
