All Comments on 'Aphrodisia Ch. 08'

Really fun series. I'd be lying if I said I skipped the smut, but the characters are likeable and the story interesting on their own.

I wish the author would continue his series on another channel to monetise or protect his work better. I'd even be happy with an epilogue chapter as so many questions are unanswered:

* how do they secure the gold legally?

* will Jamie fuck every single woman he runs into (Athena and Alison have escaped instant sex but clues are it's on the horizon)

* how big will his pantheon grow (3 girls, 2 goddesses and 1 succubus is enough for me, but I'm no sex demigod)

* how will the conflict with the demons pan out - they know about him, clues to combat training...

I guess the question is if subsequent books were self published on kindle unlimited, how many readers here would buy them?

I can only assume you've decided not to post here anymore, which based on the issues with someone stealing your work, I can understand, but it would be nice if you'd say that's the case. As usual, another unfinished story. Since it was last added to in 2011, it more in likely to never be finished. This is a major problem with this site, unfinished stories. I bet in the Erotic Horror and Nonhuman sections that over 80 to 90% of the stories are unfinished, As usual the reader is left hanging because the writer does cnor finish the story.

The story you've created here is great, and I am a little saddened that I've reached the end. I'm completely invested, and hope you revive the story somewhere down the road thank you for the wonderful introduction to your world.

This is one of those rare stories that's both excellently penned, and horribly short. While I felt there was almost too much sex and it got in the way of the overarching narrative being spun, the worst part was simply coming to the end and seeing that it has been years since the author was active here.

Truly a rare story. Well worth the time to read even if you know it ends unfinished.

Yeah, sadly I think the Lien Geller as stopped writing here on Literotice or perhaps something happened in real life that prevents him to post his work.

Still, if it's a choice between more of Aphrodisia and more of The Missing Dragon, I'll go with The Missing Dragon, although newer chapters of Aphrodisia could be expected to also benefit from Lien_Geller's greater mastery of the art.

The story is enjoyable, even though it's not up to the standard of the author's later work, The Missing Dragon. Shows how much he's improved, and the writing seems to be improving as the story progresses.

A different kind of story... I really like it! Thank you for your effort.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write Aphrodisia! I judge a good story by how hard it is for me to leave it and go do something else, this story had me sitting in my chair for hours! I loved the characters and the plot and the description of the sex scenes was great!

Very good story, but every story, bad or good, needs an ending. Till you can't end it I can't name you a good writer. However I gave all 5 stars, but they are not for you as a writer.

My usual litmus test for stories on this website (not just yours) is whether or not the plot holds up without the sex. It definitely does here (although I thought the ending was a little weak).

Having said that, in this case the sex actually overwhelmed the story. There were a couple of times where I found myself skimming past the sex parts to get back to the plot.

I just found your Aphrodisia series... wish you had continued.

The story was getting better and better. Was interested in his being taught to take care of himself. New female Athena and succubus, why did you stop. Maybe you could interest a different author to continue the story.

Like the last commenter stated, this is about 95% sex, but erotica is much more than just sex. This started out really well, however it is basically now a fuck fest, which is quite frankly becoming boring and I was skipping huge chunks to get back to the story. Hopefully you can get back on track and please try to remember that sometimes less is more. On a final note, what happened to his VW so that they had to get a taxi?

This aphrodisia series started well, but turned into 98% sex. Not near as good as the dragon or temple series. 3 stars, sorry

I was thinking he still had that glass bottle from the cellar and could have captured the succubus or the demonic pupper (and trained him and he would have been called Pootles and he would have been a good boy and only eaten cats and traffic wardens!).

I've noticed that some categories have consistently higher average ratings than others when the writing quality was roughly the same. I admire those who have posted stories because I can read, but I'm not a good writer. Just do your thing and write. Thank you for the series.

A little feedback on my thoughts on the story. I think the extra mind power stuff could be toned back. Like the mental 'clean up' after they get out of the van. I get that you said you moved away from the mind control to more scifi but I did like that aspect of the storyline. You know spreading the love connection around as payment for the gifts.

Hi @Lien_Geller, very much enjoyed reading this story so far, and would love to see more. I suspect you may think that you've written yourself into a corner - making Jamie and the girls responsible for defetating the powers of ultimate evil, while keeping true to this being erotic fiction with lots of hot sex, and not turning into a supernatural thriller. Having Jamie show love and compassion to the succubus was a smart move, maybe more along those lines? However it's a fine line to tread, the whole 'love conquers evil' can come across as very corny if not done well.

After the first couple of chapters I had expected Jamie to accept his destiny and go out into the world and spread love using his newly found mind-reading abilities, much like Michael Landon in that old TV show 'Highway to Heaven' (jeez I'm old). Keeping the story so tightly focused on the three ladies and introducing the 'conquering evil' element may have been a wrong turn. If you're planning on revisiting the story for a rewrite maybe that's something you could look at?

Anyway, just my 2c. You did well, I read the whole series (so far!) in a couple of hours, came three times after already having blown my load on a different story beforehand. Keen to see more.

You seriously need to continue this story! I keep coming back at least twice a year hoping to see a new chapter and having to just reread all the old chapters to get my fix
