I'm glad you like this. Actually, given that it's an Around the World event, yes, there will be many more - as soon as my mind thinks them up. In all honesty, the comments I've gotten so far have inspired me to begin the process for the next in the series - "Crossing the Equator" - full of fun in a long history of the Anglish Navy passed on to others. King Neptune will appear for the transformation of the Pollywags into Shellbacks. There will be judgement, preperation, paddling, and walking the plank.

Later stories will fully explain why I don't use the traditional punishment of lashes in the same way. 50 minus 1 was a horrible experience for everyone (except the odd sociopathic sadist). I prefer more creative punishments that are not permanent on the body. My goal is not to control but use control to help growth.
