D i s c r e e t

a Chirpy little number, vaguely reminiscent of an 80's song. Well told, a pleasure to read, really, up until the second last sentence.

It is somewhat like stepping into an ankle deep puddle of ice-water. Please please tell whoever edited your tale that the word is . . DISCREET . .

You would please me, and all your readers,

Yours

Kilroy

Right length, quick and to the point

A quick read. I loved it. Just what short stories are all about.

pretty good

pretty good story, properly fitted to the genre, but a little too short for my personal tastes.

it was alright

i'm into the more dark endings like if somehow the main protagonist ended up in the chair would have been awsome

The story was ok.

The expert speller wasn't

Check out the word "discrete".discrete and discreet are both valid spellings.

"discrete" is the original spelling. From latin.

The American push to change word spelling resulted in discreet being accepted in the States.

Either is accepted. Condemning without checking is not okay, or O.K.

Anyone know the derivation of OK?

Future Girl?

Modern women, with the aid of feminism have come down with a serious disease...terminal bitchiness! This little story illustrates a future where a cure has been found. Owning a woman would actually become an enjoyable experience!

Maybe a few additional skill sets could be programmed into her, such as domestic and serving skills, massage therapy, and perhaps attentiveness and limited conversation?

Girl toys: 1 --- Hateful modern women: 0
