Interesting story, with some unconventional characters. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Loved this first chapter! now I'm waiting on next installment Keep'em comin.

I would've liked a bit more detail, maybe more conversation between Jim & Carol, especially them telling each other about their previous marriages. We get enough hints to know what's going on, but it would be better (for me, anyway) to hear their thoughts about what happened to them.
