The story was great, description elaborate and drenched in emotion. The plight of poor Celine without the guidance and protection of her mother left to the hands of the cruel villagers and an incestuous father. She had no friends and was as alone as a human can be. The author was kind in the end, in some redemption for Celine's lover the nobleman and the release of Cecile from the clutches of death to their prospective escape to the north. I enjoyed the story, and its magical quality; Thank you author!
