So far so good

I am annoying this tale. Keep the chapters coming.

Very nice story, but ...

I really liked this story. Few typos, good characters, good images.

However, strip poker is not really poker. [You did have them use the standard rules of strip poker.] Since there is no betting and no dropping, you can't bluff. Most of the skill has been removed, it is in reading people and knowing when to raise and when to fold. Standard strip poker only has skill in deciding how many cards to keep. Otherwise, you might as well just draw for high card. Also, if you shuffle between every deal, as the rules call for, you can't count cards. Not that counting cards will help you all that much.

If you were playing in a larger group and wanted a game more like real poker, you could have the winner put one item back on [or 2, except if everyone drops after the draw], the 2nd best hand lose 2 items, and the worst hand lose 1 item. Players who drop can't win but they can't have 2nd best hand either, but can still have the worst hand. [The 2nd best hand loses more since in real poker they would have stayed in the pot longer and lost more. The winner has to win something to make it desirable to try to win and reduce to the number of items lost each hand. The worst hand still needs to lose something to foreclose the strategy of trying to have the worst hand. Alternately, instead of the worst hand the player, among the rest, with the most cloths (or the least cloths or the winners choice) loses 1 item.]

I liked it

Pete seems a little odd. The riding crop they are going for suggests how part two will go!
