I don't know if the author is just pretending to be sympathetic to Jack or it's because of the story being written from his point of view. We can clearly see that he's a monster. He's supposedly helping Claire while enjoying her. Really? Because of her baggage, she's not in a position to make a free will decision to be a submissive, even though he keeps pretending she is. But isn't that like most men who will rationalize anything they do to a woman? The story illustrates that kind of thinking so perfectly that I have to give it a 5.

It's a story, not how to manual to fix cutters. Very hot keep writing.

It really is refreshing to read a story that portrays BDSM accurately. I know that’s a sweeping statement because the variety within BDSM is vast but far too often it’s seen as abusive behaviour when nothing could be further from the truth. Thank you.
