I paused to read the 'anonymous' comments, and noted a great similarity in the styles. All had negligible 'body', no criticism of style, your grammar, plot points or 'flow'. All concentrated on aspects of the tale, which definitely is not what this is all about.

As a criticism of your anony-fanclub, the number of errors in such small rants was amazing.

So far as your tale went, it has of course been done before ( some would interject 'to death') but was good, flowed well. The Asterisk change of scene points was a novel idea, could be expanded upon. And, a big thing in my book, there was not one bad word choice (eg discrete for discreet) anywhere in the work.

The work could be extended, maybe with more as intimated in the last paragraph/sentence. This was well hinted at, much more well done than the writers who 'step out of the box' and write direct to the reader "email me and I'll tell you more" or tease ' and that is a story for another time'
