"I just thought you should know Emma is coming home next month."
Ian stared silently at Alice until she shifted nervously. "Is that all?" He asked tonelessly.
"Uh...yes, sir"
"Thank you Alice. Please shut the door behind you." He said as he returned to the paperwork in front of him.
Alice tilted her chin down as she backed out of the room. Once the heavy door clicked shut, the pen in Ian's grip exploded ink all over his desk and papers.

Ellienora35almost 8 years agoShe didn't steal it from another's story. Alexei Romanov was the last Tzar of Russia. I think she was making the point that he used to be a king. And Dimitri is a common Russian name. Well done on the author's part.
