Great story! Being a man in my 60's as well I definitely can understand the 'do over' idea. A well thought out and written story. I appreciate your and your Muse's imagination(?) and abilities to bring it to your story. Thank you for sharing your vision and talents.
Over the years, memories takes a slightly different shade and we grow fonder of them. They populate our mind, no matter the color of the participants. Maybe the downside is the number of such memories.

...not bad english either...much better than in some of your other stories. thank you!
Lovely story, true or made up it touches your heart. Thanks for writing it. As I get older I find black women to be fascinating. My old job had a stylish black woman, my dream.
Very close to something in my life, in fact a beautiful memorie into the past,,,I loved the story!
It was a really sweet story. I think it's based on fact. It touched me because it reminded me of the first time I slept with a White guy; my best friend. I was married when it happened, and we fell for each other. I'm not proud of the fact that I cheated on my husband whose a wonderful man, but that night I spent with my friend was crazy and wonderful and I wanted it for a long time. As of right now, I'm still married and living in Asia. My husband knows what happened between us because I almost got pregnant and the truth had to come out. I still love my friend very much, and he feels the same way about me, but we know that as long as I'm married we can't be together like I want. But, I'm not letting it go. I'm going to let fate take over and if my friend is my true love, it will happen. If we're destined to be best friends forever, I can live with that too.
I really enjoyed reading your story, I do beleive that it is more fact than fiction.
