Great story. The action was quite good. I always come back to this one in particular out of everything on the site. Nice writing aside, it's probably the great contrasts and taboos you have working: married vs single, old vs young, upper-middle class vs convicted felon. Winning combinations.

Always wished you could have done more with this pairing of Darlene and Denny. Very intense. Another interlude before the ending, like does Denny see a family photo during a date, or a sequel starting around chapter 5. Something to see more of their relationship: how does Darlene change after the fact? With her family? At Loughlin? With Denny, in bed?

Even a what if could be good. Like if Denny hadn't come downstairs and Darlene had to answer Gary.
