I'm not really a big science fiction fan, but this story made me want to explore this type of thing further. It was amazing, fun, and witty. I hope that poor Cheyne finds a way to survive Carson's neglect and finds his way back to Deacon. I believe that if he could get past his insecurities he could love again. Looking forward to part 2. Thanks for sharing your story.

I generally don't get into sci-fi unless it tells an excellent story. This is excellent. World building, character building, making a classic plot fresh. You have rung all the important bells.

On to part two. Hoping Deacon kills them all.

I love this story, every word of it. It's so well written, you should write movies.
