I nodded after a minute and he smiled that I'm harmless smile.
"It was nice to meet you Johnny Hav...Hedge. Sorry I won't see ya around."
Hearing my last name again after all this time calling myself Luke's husband was weird but I didn't correct him. It was true now.
I watched him as he got into the back seat of the car and it sped away back in the direction of Jameson. I shifted into gear and left, this time not watching to see if the red lights of his car disappeared like the town's did. I didn't know where I was going and I didn't really care. As long as I never saw Luke Havers or Mike Warden, it was a good place.

Anonymousalmost 8 years agoCant believe im reading this story now..... Oh well;patient dog, fattest bone and all that. Great writing. All dose pissing about the editing have NEVER written a story before. Im so into the story i dont even see any mistake, and if ur smart, u just replace the errors in your head and enjoy the beautiful story. Just one peeve tho....... Why the fuck is Mike still alive? He should be six feet under by now, barely a memory. Yet he still has d guts to show his face? SMH. I hope u killed dat mo'fucka in the nxt chapter.
armywife2009over 13 years agoAuthorI am checking back everyday to see if it is posted yet i promise i didn't abandon the story i even broke it up so its not the final chapter because so many people didn't want it to be. I'm sorry its taking so long i look everyday to see if its up :(
Anonymousover 13 years agoIt is the absolute worst thing when someone starts an amazing story and then just stops writing. I love this story and hope you would continue it. Atleast just give us an ending if you can't write it anymore..they still haven't even gone on the date their supposed to go on....will we ever see the end to this potentially fantastic story? I hope so.
