Not sure I care for the "let's just be friends" bit, but the rest of it was very well written.
I love how you always give readers a new characters with a new perspective, yet keep to the real world and everyday life. In this case, the stable Yuppie, who can't seem to settle down in his personal life and is always looking next door or over the fence for something new and different.
An intreguing contrast to Marsh and his seemingly rock-solid family as well as to earthy, reliable Stan. I'm looking forward to seeing how this story develops.
