And still spent too much time on this piece of shit. Some people say stories have some requirements to make a connection with the reader. For me, some connection to reality is key. This story never had a chance as there was nothing believable about it.

A good idea. Well written. A little confused at times. After seeing that the fourth page is weak, I came to the idea that everything needs to be rewritten. Some commentators are quite interesting. I had originally given this story two stars to recognize the effort that went into the writing. I ignored the spelling and grammatical errors that better editing might have caught. But the reconciliation at the end was simply not believable, and the main character does not in my mind represent a man. The illusion of strength from separating bank accounts, canceling credit cards, and consulting a divorce attorney was just that, an illusion. Further, he ate her cream pie and did most everything to be subservient short of wearing a chastity device, while she got fucked multiple times per week, seemingly without limit. She says she does not wish to humiliate him, yet she did not clean up after her trysts. Maybe he’s binary or bisexual or some other label. In any event, I changed my score to one star.

This writer is apparently mystified by the whole art/science of writing dialogue. We have these huge monoliths of text where the speaker changes several times. Then, like members of The House of Commons, this couple communicates in these flowery, faux-sincere two-minute blocks of speech. (I expect to hear one character say, 'I refer my Right Honorable Spouse to my previous remarks.') Much of the dialogue is hard to follow, both due to it being intermingled and because so much was unclear, obtuse, and without context. Inane comes to mind as this story got into the more complex parts. This idiot just writes all his dialogue and lets the poor reader sort through the blocks of text.

The story spins in this slow, ever-descending, ever-tightening gyre that's slightly reminiscent of a flushing toilet disappearing a turd (much like this story). Punctuation is a mystery equal to dialogue creation in that commas are where they shouldn't be and aren't where they should be. Then there are the random periods dropped like bird poop throughout the story. Also, OP thinks that 'dam' and 'damn' are the same word. Ditto with 'your' and 'you're.'
