First, regarding the divorce. Some people seemed to "complain" that more wasn't said about the divorce, and also that more wasn't done with moralizing the story, explaining long term outcomes, dealing with possibilities of STDs, etc.
I guess, in a way, I'm a little surprised that people were so focused on these details, while MISSING the most obvious one - namely the title of the story. The title indicates that this is how things STARTED, which implies that there is more to the story and more to come. The mention of the divorce is in fact a grabber and a teaser to get someone interested in reading more stories when they come. This was intended to be a series of short stories, not a novel, so not all questions will be answered in one story.
I was happy to see, however, that people were in fact grabbed by the teaser.
Regarding some of the typos, etc. - yes, there were many more errors than I had anticipated, and this surprised me since the story was not rushed, since it was proof-read by a couple of people, etc. I'm currently uncertain whether the method of submission may have contributed to this and I am checking that. Perhaps I inadvertently uploaded a version of the file that hadn't been completely edited. But please don't make assumptions and jump to conclusions about the care that someone has taken or the speed with which the story may have been written.
I'd also like to point out that the story is also intended to convey the feelings that people had AT THE TIME. That is, at the time this happened, there were certainly personal fears, but the events were primarily erotic, and other emotions came to play later. To catch, maintain, and convey the erotic feeling of the moment, the story focused on the erotic feelings, not on other emotions that came later.

Despite what some think, fiction -- even at such a site as this -- is not an "anything goes" environment. What enters into the story is by the digression of the writer. If they are not germane to the story, they do not belong. Once such a facet is entered into the story, it must be dealt addressed. Each new detail a writer adds limits and defines the world the are creating. If you do not realize and address this you are not writing, you are typing.
