This was beautifuly writen and your descriptions of the traffic and the weather are pleasent to read without seeming dull. You could have said it was cold and miserable and the sidewalk was slippery but the way you described it was so well thought out. Can't wait to read more

Honestly it usually takes me more than a page to sympathize with the main character (especially those in abusive relationships) but yet you've managed to do that in just a few paragraphs. Also, the scenery? It was chrystal clear in my mind. You have some magic with adjectives and descriptive words that I'm extremely envious of. Keep it up! I really can't wait for the next installment. :)

And when you read that chapter look out for the symbols there and keep the imagery in mind...........it will re-occur in later chapters...........and essentially in one of the most important ones. Keep an eye out for little details or hint of details.
