Male Character

I kept waiting until Tim grew a pair of balls in the story. It was tough to keep reading until the end. Do English males really act that stupid or are they that naive?

You made good effort at the story but the actions of the Tim character was unbelieveable.

Risq_001Risq_001over 15 years ago
I swear I tried, but I just could do it...........

I just didn't like any of your characters. Not one. Please don't take my comments as directed at you personally, but at the story was written. It was really hard to like the story when I couldn't find a single character worth liking in the story.

Tim - Best described when you said early on that Susan (one of Fiona's friends) always thought he was a wimp. He let everyone walk on him, and the ending was more Greg's doing than his. If Greg had not been there, the story didn't lead me to believe he would have ever stood up for himself. From Fiona who was two timing him with Tod to letting Janice play slap and tickle with any man she wanted, while Janice told him he had better not be doing things to other women that she let other men do to her, he was unlikeable. Doing things she went out of her way to make happen (according to your story the way she dressed and acted). And every time someone screwed him over (especially his wife), the story had him make an excuse why that person at the time was only in small part partially to blame for their actions and it was always "Tod" who was the real villain. Tod was only the villain because the story let him walk all over Tim. And after Tim catches his wife naked at Tod's house they have the best sex ever? Or at least he comments on how good it was??

Even after all the lies between him and his wife, leading up to her cheating on him with Tod, he kept talking about how if it was anyone but Tod (because she was so beautiful) they might have put it behind him. Huh? Having Fiona royally screw him over wasn't enough for this character, but he wanted to be in a position to be married to the person who would help screw him over while lying to him?

With the lead character having just the above mentioned comments as a "sample" of his character just too "unlike" able to me.

Janice - Where to begin. She gets caught not once, not twice, but MULTIPLE times in a compromising positions? And after the hotel scene where she claimed she felt like Tod and his friends were going to rape her, she decides to go over to Tod's house where she screws Tim over one more time, but this time she gets filmed doing it with the antagonist "Tod"?? And one time at the hotel where she got a glimpse of Tod's character wasn't enough for her character to realize this was a bad idea?? And the story keeps tying to act like Tim should share part of the blame for how she turned out because he didn't stop her early on?

If I take a steak and tease a dog with it, pretending I'm going to give it to him, but I never do, I'm considered cruel. But his wife stirs up other men, getting them all randy and horny, and this was all innocent fun that got out of hand? And she still goes to Tod's house after what happened at the hotel when then she "supposedly" realizes that Tod planned the first time?

What a winner she turns out to be. She even gets a "happy ever" after where she meets a man who lets her slut around on him long as when she's done, she still comes back to him, cause he likes to watch? Her character still learned nothing from what happened to her.

Tod - Need we say more, this story was written so that Tod as the main villain. Problem was the main character wasn't smart enough to get out from under his influence with all the chances he had to do so.

Fiona - Kinda hard to like someone who went out of their way to screw over their boyfriend, while having sex with a married man on the side, and when she thought she was pregnant decided to trick her boyfriend into believing the child was his. Covenant bullet dodged by a missed period.

Gwen - Slut around much? Lets see, the one real time her character is introduced and fleshed out, is when Tim finds Janice naked at his arch-rivals house and they have some real dialog? It was only then that she starts in on how her husband should have "fought" for her after she had sex with another person? And how its not too late for Janice and him? Then points out that, while she slapped Tod, she was still planning on having sex with the four men that were still at Tod's house? Where she's standing naked as Tim and Janice leave, and Tim comments "Nice woman Gwen"?? Gwen's character, from what you introduced, didn't have anything worth "fighting" for. Why her character would suggest that another human being should fight for her affections left me baffled. And she lives "Happy ever" after after spreading her legs for "any" and "every" man willing to pay attention to her and at the end of the story she finds religion??

The only ones who didn't get a Happy ever after were Tod and Fiona (but only because the story didn't know where she went). Everyone else, no matter who they were or what they did, got one??

But everything was always TOD's fault in the story. It seemed like no other character in the story had any will or ability to do anything that "puppet master" Tod didn't want them to do. That made no sense. If the characters are able to feed themselves, go to parties, dance, hold conversations, and even have sex, they sure as heck can tell Tod "no". But no one seems to be able to. And it Tim always seems to blame Tod for others inability to tell him no.

The only thing that made me chuckle at the end was Tim hooking up with the one woman that Tod would refuse to have sex with. But that "still" wasn't enough to make me like the characters

Risq - how did you suffer through all of this?

I could not. Sounds like some one is venting a lot of rage over men. Perhaps therapy? A must read for very angry women.

Risq_001Risq_001over 15 years ago
To be honest I think he's a good writer (^_^)

But most of the stories have the men getting royally screwed over.

I'm not saying that the men in the stories should be hitting their wives, beating up all males involved, and/or socially ruining anyone who hurt them. That is just stuff of fantasies. But the men don't ever say "Enough is enough". They don't put the blame for actions where they should be, with the people (often their wives), and in almost all stories the husband can't wait to go back to the wives after being screwed over by them. Often using the lines like "It was just one mistake I can forgive that" or "I don't want to throw away a marriage over one mistake". These mistakes often "crush" the male's, but they always feel like the males should be going back to the bar for a second belt because they wouldn't be men if they didn't keep letting their women abuse them. I just can't like male leads who do this.

I thought it was a nice attempt, but I kept hoping someone would become likable by the end, but it never happened.

problems with the story

I hope you'll keep writing. But in this one, there is too much that is just silly: above all, our hero has every reason to warn Janice about Tod--but he never does! He sees her behave, with Tod, in a way that upsets him, but never sits her down and explains their past history--something that presumably would have made Janice be more careful.

Thanks, ohio

Interesting Story

It almost looks to me as if it was written to provoke

the wimp hunters. Janice was fairly stupid in order to

follow the themes to the end. Perhaps it was a morality

tale..... Interesting though!

AnonymousAnonymousover 15 years ago
Too little said, too many words used

While the story was *generally* well-written, it seemed to be populated by people I really didn't like; and why did the husband keep the wife around after it was clear she was too stupid to realize she was playing with cheating? The whole premise just made little sense.
In addition, this tale is told with about 60% more words than are needed. It could have been pared back, some silly scenes removed, and generally rendered clearer with some (fairly brutal) editing.
Worth a rewrite, perhaps, but for now this deserves an F.

he's a wimp

The author is well intentioned in writing this story. It is clearly written and has a rather surprising, enjoyable ending which includes an update on the lives of some of the story's participants. But why, for cry sack, does Britease have to have such a weak leading male in the story. I think that the husband really did not much care for wife Janice, and that perhaps is why he let things get way out of hand. I mean, what husband would let a wife carry on with men, in several situations, as Janice did? Tim should have crashed Tod's face there in Tod's back year. He may have also been physically attacked by Tod's side kicks but, in his mind, and probably that of his wife, he would have come out the winner in the battle. But, no, he does nothing. At least poor Gwen did smack Tod. All in all not a very enjoyable read for me because I really got my adrenaline up over the husband's wimpy behavior and had to take a long walk afterward to wear the effects of the adrenaline off. So, was it luck?

That the wimp ended up with Tod's little daughter the wimp used to babysit?, a woman Tod won't have sex with, our hero grins big time! LOL

Who the fuck says Tod can not have sex with his own daughter, just to screw the wimp's mind, one more time for old time sake? After all, our hero claimed he had royally fucked Tod's life: business gone, wife gone, posh living gone....

So the wimp considered himself really lucky he ended up with a woman HE THINKS safe from old Tod's dick, eh? This man is stupid like a earthworm...

I think the author should really might as well take this lame story to some extreme conclusion, and have daddy Tod fuck his little girl, and see if the wimp's gonna have enough gut to kill himself, and BLAME Todd for it by writing a letter to Todd's daughter (wimp's wife):

"Dear beloved Carol --- is that her name?, Carol? --- I can't live any more, 'cuze your father fucked every woman I've ever got myself attached to. I tried being a good man all my life, starting when I first met your mother and your father, with my first girlfriend, whom your father royally fucked weeks after having met her,,, taking her virginity and bragging it to me, leaving me not knowing what to do.... and a whole bunch of women in between,,, all the way to you, the last... I just can't take it anymore, so I have to say goodbye. Tell you dad he won, okay?"

Dear author, why not do something like that? Now, THAT I'd have to admire, because the story, THEN, would be truly consistent, from beginning to end. But this story of the wimp grinning like a total retarded idiot: "I score big this time around: marrying his daughter, a woman he can't fuck."

So are you saying it's LUCK that saved the wimp, NOT any thing he's able to do, not any other woman he's able to meet, that could/would love him enough NOT to fuck Todd? That it had to be Tod's own daughter, whom Tod doesn't want to fuck? How do we know that? How does the stupid wimp know that, being as stupid as he is...?

Very well done

This was a believable story of the typical man born post 70s and my guess is the author falls into that date range as well. We were taught that to get the right kind of woman, you had to be a gentle, sensitive guy who never fought. Only a life experience that shows you the folly of being such a pussy and destroys the "man" you were can drive you to recreate yourself into tough, while honest, man who will fight for what is right and what he believes in and has no fear of driving a stake in the heart of the S.O.B.s in his life. I didn't like the character at first, but I saw his progression.

Interesting Tale!

It's hard to understand why Tim never told Janice about his history with Tod and that she should stay away from him. Not too smart. It's also hard to understand why they're living in a fairly large city that Tim's company can only find work with Tod's company. I would think he would go completely out of his way to find other companies to work with. And Tim can only be attracted to women that are completely selfish and only think of themselves. Good writing skills and I hope to see more of your work here...

I would kill Tim

If I was a friend of Tim's I would ask if he wanted to be put out of his misery. He is a wimp. The only reason Carol hasn't slept around on him, is because the story ended. Financial ruin is not revenge for infidelity. Castration or death is. But Tim is a wimp would watches his girlfriend make out with a married man and never tells the wife. Then his wife makes out with a french guy and he does nothing. Talking is doing nothing. Then the same wife has orgies with Tod and Tim divorces her. Wow Tim are you ever strong? Wimp!!! You are the biggest wimp I have ever read about. And the author says he is a hero. Bullshit real people, people who are not even heroes would not put up with the shit that Tim lets happen. Garage story although it was well written. It was completely unbelievable. Please stop writing stories like this.

The story has a principal character, no hero

The story was well written and had a principal character, but it wanted a hero. Regrettably there was no hero and little passion, other that by the female cheaters.

In keeping with the tenor of the story, when the leading character says, "this is one woman you won't get to fuck."

The father should respond, "That won't be necessary, I already have."

I have to agree with Risq...

that for a story to be successful it must have at least one likeable character. I could not find one character in this story likeable. I tried to like Tim thru his trials and struggles but all of his problems were caused by him. Let's take Fiona. Who lets a "girlfriend" be groped and fondled by your boss while she denies you the same access? It seems to set the stage for the rest of his life. Now Janice was a real piece of work. She goes out with a Frenchman acting like a prick tease (remember all he got out of it was blue balls) during their vacation. Like a moth to a flame she teased and flirted with other men until the expected happened. She goes back to the same group of men who supposely almost rape her to play more strip tease games with them. Yet every time she is caught she pleads that she can not help herself and she did not fuck them. What about Tim's reputation in the business community and among his workers? So what happens in the end? Tim ends up with the little girl he babysat. Janice got the overt cuckold husband that she always wanted and Gwen got the respectabilty she wanted by marrying the Vicar (don't he check the local gossip). Too much blame was placed on Tod. After all none of women were forced (I do not count the DVD of Janice as blackmail because she put herself in that situation). After Tod repeatedly screw with her she trusts him not to sent the DVDs? ComeOn! Despite the comments above and the score you are a good writer - it is just what you wrote in this case reflects either an incredibly stupid guy or someone who is not honest in what he really wanted by blames everyone else.

Interesting

The was a very good story, as are most Britease stories. It's interesting to see how the concept of the "hero" differs between cultures. As an American, I agree that parts of the story were difficult to read, as I wanted the protagonist to be more dynamic. But I understand that in most European cultures the hero of a story is usually someone who works within the system, not someone who works alone out of selfish interest. Actually, America could use more of that mentality, and fewer people who "do their own thing". Anyway, thanks for the story, and please keep writing them.

it seems, is difficult for some to see. But your protagonsit cetainly seemed incapable of seeing it until he gets a DVD of it after seeing her naked with Tod and having been doing it for weeks on Thursdays. Did he not know that 1 + 1 = 2 together. Also, I know teenage boys are a little hormonally stupid, but your protagonist was beyond naive and stupid. He spent his life not seeing what was right in front of him and then gets angry about it. He is rather pathetic actually. Your are a great writer, but he was just too unbelivable to accept. Tod made more sense than him.

Todd fucked his life every decade, ruining his youth and enjoying his own youth completely. Tim says he got revenge but when? Marrying his daughter is not revenge. Finance for whom he need money anymore. His daughter is safe with wimp. His wife does not have anything to with him. And for People like Todd it does not matter if his wife is running around. In his age he does not need money. He lived joyfully, sexually setisfied, fucking his enemy throughout his life and finally died peacefully. So where is REVENGE. You create a life in decade and someone comes and destroy it within weeks. Tim lived miserable youth and middle age life.

Good Story

When I first started reading this story I was little up set that tim just stood around and let Tod royally screw is girl friend Fiona and layer on his wife Janice. Susan mentioned that he might not ne a wimp however he let's 2 of his women get screwed by Tod the villian. I would have liked tim to have told Tods wife about Fiona and then screw her in a revenge fuck. Also later on in the story tim needed to screw any woman and keep them that Tod cared for. I did also suspect tim would get with Tod's daughter at some some point in the story. As you put it he would not want to screw this one !

Janice needed to be BTB and of course it would have been good for tim to meet up with Fiona's child ( only of it was a girl ) and fuck her as well. Tim could have done all this through he growing business empire.

Tod was not the villain.

Tod, Gwen, Fiona, Janice... they were opportunists. The only villain in this story was Tim. And the saddest part he was only an enemy to himself.

And the story closed with Tim remaining the villain. Sad and idiotic tale.

I am going down Britease's stories alphabetically. So far his earlier works ARE NOT impressive. I continually am left to wonder if most British males are weak; mind and body.

I will admit that those I have met or served with definitely do not fall into Britease's written ideal of maledom. I'd say they were a little more forceful in their reactions to similar matrimonial events. I have met a few who have been divorced...some even more than once. Our life was definitely not for everyone.

Well played but...

For most of the story Tim was a hapless moron. I got tired of him constantly coming off as a "oh poor me" sod. Why didn't he ever think to tell Tods' wife he was messing with Fiona? Why did it take SO long for him to realize Janice was a cheating slut? Why didn't he realize early on that Tod was his enemy? Where was Tim's father in all this? Couldn't he have spoken to his father when he was young and gotten some good fatherly advice? If Tim was smart enough to build up such a large and successful business, he would have needed to be a lot smarter than you portrayed him. Well written story, but Tim was just too spineless for me to enjoy the story. In the end you gave him a fairy tale ending but that was too little, too late.

A tale of sexuality. Fiona exploited young love and shook his self confidence, from which he never really recovered. He and his wife started with exhibitionism, which turned them both on, her more than him. The Frenchman in the alley showed his wife leading the charge into debotchery, and while it arroused him, the pain of what to him was betrayal was dominant. To Janet, it was a quick, exciting fling with, ofer and done in a few minutes. She loved her husband no less.

Of course the Tim/ Tod dynamic is the glue that binds the plot, I'm in small town politics, and forced to work with a person I dispise, and who dispises me in like measure. However, it obscures and distracts us from the rapidly diverging sexuality between Janet and Tim.

Janet's interest in Tod, may be just he's a good looking man, who feeds her exhibitonist fetish, and lose morals.

The pool scene was the marriage killer. You might have given him a full bladder when Saint Timothy showed up, saw his wife naked in the pool, he should have pissed on her. Had the pool scene taken place without Tods involvement, I think it would have equally a marriage breaker, as she needed multiple sex partners, and he wanted a monogamous wife.

The ending was good. The wife found a man who could accept her sexuality, and he a woman whose sexuality matched his.

Excellent story

Why didn't he tell Sheila?

He should have told the wife about Tod and Fiona when he was a teenager, and definitely later on, there's been no mention of them having an open marriage, and if they had the protagonist didn't know, and only someone bloody stupid wouldn't realise how much that could screw up Tod's life, even better if he could have gotten Sheila into bed out of spite.

Wasn't a bad bit of revenge though, with the business and the daughter (would have been even better if she had been a virgin to make up for what happened with Fiona), but he had good options way earlier, and no reason not to double dip, both would have stacked quite nicely.

Well written once again ....but...

What goes around comes around - a very good double revenge on Tod. Loved his comment that Tod won't screw the latest wife.

Janice was a naive fool who was thrown to the wolves by Tim. At the end he had the nerve to say "I never wished her any ill", Of course he did by his actions.

He pissweak excuse to toss her "I could maybe have forgiven her infidelity, I don't really know. But not with Tod" If it had been with anyone but Tod, yes I agree. But he intimately knew how Tod behaved and that Tod finally got his way with Janice only by blackmail.

Tim was a weak character, excused with Fiona by his youth. No excuse for latter day actions.

I have the feeling that tim never really loved janice to begin with, the fact that he threw her to the wolves despite the blackmail leaves me uneasy

It's a pretty good read though not exactly my cup of tea, sorry

Yeuch !!

I really hated this story of a wimp with absolutely no balls or spine. He even got his revenge by doing absolutely nothing but taking an opportunity presented by another.

He deserved everything he got as he was lead by all his women by his cock, which could not have been that great as they kept leaving him. It was also sooo predictable, he allowed Tod every liberty and deserved every humiliation.

I have never read a story by you where I really wanted the "Heroes" ass to be kicked so soundly he would never require his tonsils to operated on.

1* and if there were a MINUS mark you would have got that.

finish it. Tell the guys wife and then tell the little cunt to piss off. Seriously, there was never a time in my young life when me or anyone I know would have put up with this shit. Another 1. Working from top to bottom easy Brit is on a roll.

Jesus dude

Half way through the story I had to check if I accidentally clicked on Matt Moreau. Wtf was going on in this story? Fiona don't you cheat on me! Oh you're already cheating on me, well don't cheat me again! What again you cheated on me? Well don't you it again! Oh okay I forgive you last time I swear.

Rinse and Repeat for the wife. Seriously man. Not sure how I felt about the revenge. It was good, but was it really worth it?

That is a really sick plot ... seriously. There CANNOT be people as pathetic as Tim.

Agree 100% with Schwanze

Accepting the story up to a certain point...

... the revenge was pretty pathetic. Too remote, too sanitary. Needed to be something like the daughter having to come to him to keep her father out of jail and offering to prostitute herself. Something really NASTY! :o)

well, temporary suspension of disbelief...

since it's difficult for me to conceptualize putting up with tod and janice's behavior. but overall, good story (must have been since i read it all).

Cuck alert

You should noted that in the beginning. 1-star for wimp cuckold nonsense. Real men do not behave like that, I imagine some could, probably the writer himself but this is not worth reading.

danoctoberdanoctoberover 5 years ago
At previous commenter...

Why read through 7 pages to tell us the writer is not worth reading. Doesn't that even seem just a little bit weird? Even to yourself. I read one page and I know if I want to continue. If not, on to the next story. But to read 7 pages and then crap on the story, well just seems odd. I think Bretise is a fine writer. It's not all blood, guts, and veins in your teeth here. Some of the best quality stories are what the are. Simply a journey the author is taking you on.

Bede the Venerable

opined that the best of manhood of Britain left in 395 AD to participate in the sack of Rome, and never returned, and this is why the remaining dregs of manhood were unable to resist the invasions of the Angles, Saxons, and Jutes. Hmmm. Were so many British men slaughtered in the world wars that there are now no actual men left for you to know and write about?

I believe

It caught me by surprise, but now I believe the others that you cannot write a story without the protagonist being a pansy.

Good writer

Critics fail to see the whole picture. Britease is a very good writer and a Brit. The US writers in general, not all, tend to exaggerate but the UK writers are more realistic. I have enjoyed all Britease’s stories mainly due to the fact they are realistic as in, the hero is not the perfect man. Give me more and I will continue to give 5 stars.

Good story

Must admit I prefer a guy who is better at evaluating such situations seeing thru the bs. It was obvious his gf was jerking him around, but he was young. It was pretty obvious his wife was double trouble, should have dropped her after the 1st encounter.

Could have been a good read

But I got tired of skipping over the protagonist's ridiculous conversations with himself and his unpardonable naïveté.

Really bad

This was so bad that I actually gave up reading it after ch 05. I could not believe a story could be written about such a sad excuse for a male. Right from school days the guy was a total loser in every way. A wimp of the first magnitude who did not seem to have the common sense he was born with. And the continual besting he accepted from Tod. Come on give us a break. And the story just went on and on with Willy Wimp coming on the losing end of every situation involving wives or girlfriends.

There were parts of this Story That I Loved .. Others Not so Much ..My Ex and I were at her Friends Party .. I caught her Kissing someone in One of the Bedrooms .. I walked out the door after telling her friend I was leaving .. Her Friend did not believe Me to Bad as She had to get a ride home with Her Mom . 2 hours later. Guess what Her Keys didn't work ..Then Her Mom Begged me to take her back .. I did until I saw The Hickey on her Tit ..

Why arent a bunch of people in jail?

Its illegal to fuck or marry the mentally retarded.

Everytime this cucks women cheat on him he "punishes" them by fucking them harder

Is it any wonder all the cunts feel like he likes it?

One of your best

Not your usual tongue in cheek style and longer. It had me squirming at the pain of the main character but I couldn't stop reading. Excellent!

Well, it would have been if Tod's wife had figured more prominently in the middle of the story.

Terrible. Slogged thru this but geez…. A slut girlfriend and a sult wife and a WACC…. At least Tod got what he deserved. But why the hell put up with his wife for so long? Dump her sorry ass after her second crossed line with Tod…. Oh wait the author is a Brit…. That explains it. Are there any real men left in the UK? Or all they just happy cucks? And what the hell is with calling sluts cows…

And sorry no, I just can’t imagine it even though the ending with Tim ending up with Tod’s daughter was obvious from her first introduction at the tennis match.

AnonymousAnonymousabout 2 years ago

Gawd... is every "man" in the UK a pathetic cuckold? I swear, even the non-cuckold stories are actually cuckold stories. The MC was spineless, he should have kicked her out when he caught her in the alley with the frog, way back at the beginning of this long cuckold story.

mattenwmattenwabout 2 years ago

Yes, that's how we know the British. The women whores and the men mostly the born cuckolds!

CHUCK2468CHUCK2468almost 2 years ago

If your a fan of cuckold, wimp, loser faggy men then this is for you. Got to page 3 and to quote the missis " What a pile of trash. I can only surmise that the author is writing about himself as no one could write such a pathetic loser without having real life experience."

Laughed my ass off. Not even worth rating.

AnonymousAnonymousalmost 2 years ago

After reading this story and others by the author begs the question, are the men in the UK this weak willed and wimpy? Or is the author the exception?

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

In this long story, I found that the character Tim is simply an wimp if not a pussy who can't have a tight hold on his woman. This type of pathetic character deserves to be a cuckold. I hate them.

AllNigherAllNigherover 1 year ago

I read to the end so have to commend your writing for the most part despite some glaring errors. This is your universe and your characters, but the guy was an idiot from day one starring with Fiona. Then with his wife... seems like he likes cheating women. Weird characters...

AnonymousAnonymousover 1 year ago

I read the whole story thinking that it might get better. Staying with Fiona might be excused by Tim being a horny teenager, but to watch Tom make out with her and stay with her defies logic. Giving Janice a second and then a third chance makes no sense. Apparently all other commenters are right that Brit’s are cucks.
