All Comments on 'Kelly Cass and I Become Friends'

One has to wonder why either one didn't speak up when she left for the South about how they felt about each other. Especially her who knew she was really in love with this guy. Why did she mary someone else? Why didn't she invite him to her college? To me it was kind of a bitter sweet story.
