Complete disconnect from the ending of the last chapter to the beginning of this one. Previous chapter ends with him calling "Mary" the tell her he's going to be gone for a couple of days and don't call him because he needs time to think.

I'm glad Marcus was able to give him perspective and that perspective would definitely allow him to continue forward in his marriage.

I can't believe the two parts of this story were both written by the same author. As good as the first part was this was simply awful. The first chapter of this story was sensitive and insightful, if a little too wordy. This chapter was essentially a man listening to an author-inserted cliché tell him that everything was his fault and he needed to accept "reality" and work harder. Riiiiight.

Where exactly did this idiocy stem from where the author had to introduce some new character who's conveniently black with an even bigger cock than ole Brian which Christopher has unrealistically seen? It's a true shame because HHL had some writing chops. I enjoyed the first chapter quite a bit and was looking forward to how he was going to solve this dilemma, which would have taken immeasurably more effort than was indicated in this chapter in reality. Let me state that I do not think that the characters in this story should have gotten a divorce. While the issues were serious, they don't necessarily lead to unsolvable differences. Before the wife revealed how incredibly stupid she is and how little she understands her husband (or indeed any men), the two were harmonic and in love. This could be overcome but probably not without the intervention of a professional marriage counselor to clue Rachael the moron in and guide them into how to communicate better, how to overcome the great harm she did to her husband's pride and feelings, and how intimacies could be recommenced between them without him feeling as though he was a distant second best or that any enthusiasm on her part wasn't faked and based on guilt. This ending didn't even come close to that. Instead we got black cliché Marky saying, "lol try harder pasty pencil dick!" and Christopher magically seeing some kind of insane wisdom in it and forgiving all. Shameful.

Again, I don't think HHL is a racist, nor do I believe he meant to propagate some kind of BBC agenda. Do they get it from porn? Part of what makes non-sci fi/non fantasy fiction work is that it maintains a robust connection to reality that allows the plot seem plausible enough to cause the reader to be able to suspend disbelief.

Unfortunately, many writers here write nonsense. Blacks statistically don't have bigger cocks than whites; almost all cocks are within 1 standard deviation of average (5.17"), and the variance is only 4/5" (i.e. a 4/5 variance from average accounts for 80% of men). The actual incidence of "huge cocks" approaches 0 asymptotically. You will rarely see a true 8" or 9" in porn, but that's because not only are cocks that size exceedingly rare, they also have to work in front of an audience, be disease free, and be attached to someone who is at least minimally attractive.

Then, in chapter two, he was led to believe it was totally his fault and that he would never in this lifetime 'measure up'.

He is faced with two choices. Accept his role as a willing cuckold or divorce Rachael. Divorce is less painful than the alternative. Never accept the role as second best husband. Rachael publicly replaced her husband with a memory. She let a memory have priority over her wedding vows. And every time she made Chris feel inadequate, she made her son of lesser importance, too. It was she and Chris who created Harry, not she and Brian. The plot behind this was inadequate, as was Chris to Rachael.

The concept of this story was good and writing was fine. The ending ruined it however.
