Great Work!

I really like your story, as with your other work I just gave it five stars.

Some suggestions though:

(1) When posting on literotica, you might want to gave a quick author's note to explain that this is a femdom story. I think you're getting killed on the score because a lot of readers (most of whom aren't familiar with your work) prefer other sorts of content and are upset that they weren't warned this was femdom instead of male dominant.

(2) I wish there was a bit more world building here -- explaining and understanding the universe and how people interact in it. In particular, Nicholas consders Mel a "friend," which seems odd. There's several possible explanations, but without more information it's hard to imagine he wouldn't think of her as "tormentor" or even "predator" rather than "friend."

Maybe in Sex Mage World, all relationships are like this, and in choosing a relationship with her, he knew what he was getting into? So, he chose her, but still has to deal with what sex is like in this world?

Or, maybe, even as mean as she is, all the other girls are meaner. After all, she gave him a chance to come. Maybe that's the sign of real friendship in this world. Maybe it's not often you find a girl like that, she's a keeper!

Either possibiliy, and the details of each, would help to flesh out the world and the relationship between the characters.

Also, she might be a "work friend" but it wasn't clear whether something like this had happened before. Was this the first time she took this much liberty with her power, or is this a regular occurance?

(3) One other question I have about relationships in Sex Mage World, is how women mark their territory. Suppose two women are interested in the same man. How does this get sorted out?

In this world men get no say... but what happens when he finds himself between two women? Does he always go to the strongest? Even if he can't fight off a sex mage, could he resist one and openly accept the one he prefers to give her a win?

What options does a woman have for keeping other women out of her man's head? I mean, she has to have some defensive capability. Otherwise any obnoxious do-gooder sex mage could wipe out all those orgasm blocks, and I can't imagine most women would tolerate that for a moment!

Also, do women have some sort of code of non-interference or is it usually cut-throat competition?

(4) I notice most of the Sex Mages in your stories are either always mean (most of them) or, more rarely, generally good people. I'd like to read a story about a sex mage who starts out intending to be nice to her boyfriend, to have a loving relationship, who then slowly. Then, over the course of months or years she slowly gets corrupted by how the power makes her feel, and by how much control she gets when she uses it. In particular I'd like to read it from her perspective, with all the rationalizations and justifications as she slowly changes from a caring girlfriend into a domineering, power-hungry tyrant.

Just a thought.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you both for the compliments! :)

To address Anon2’s questions:

1 - No one’s ever recommended that before, oddly enough. I suppose an intro note wouldn’t hurt, though editing on Lit is a pain in the ass, so I’ll just have to keep it in mind for the future. I tag all the relevant info in each story, but for whatever reason, literotica puts tags all the way at the very end of the story. Otherwise, the space given for titles and descriptions is so tiny it’s ridiculous.

2 - Fair enough complaint, but I should point out this is one of my works not intended to be a full fledged story, but just an account of a fantasy. One of my “Just A Little Scenes” as it were, so it gets right to sex with a minimal framework and very simple characters, rather than explore the actual depths of a relationship. There are other stories for that.

Relationships in the Sex Mage World can be a complicated and confusing matter, and the further down the timeline it goes, the stranger it can seem. It largely depends on location, past relationships, societal expectations/pressures, etc. Plus, honestly it just depends on if I’m just relaying a fantasy which may be largely nonsensical, versus an exploration of how the relationships actually work. Suffice to say not every story is an accurate representation of how things are as a whole.

This does make me think, though, that perhap I should do a settings article on the blog on the matter.

3 - This largely depends on what society the women are apart of, especially once the Queendoms form. In Softcore Queendoms, women are usually very respectful of men and their relationships with other women. Any woman can easily just read a man’s thoughts to see if he is in a relationship, and if he is, she’ll leave him alone.

Women can attempt to put shields on their men, but the strength of the shield can vary, and an equally strong sex mage, or group of mages, can easily break the shield. Archmages can make stronger ones, of course, and Megami’s shields are virtually unbreakable, though earning Megami’s favor enough for her to grant you one is pretty rare if you aren’t one of her immediate circle.

Several stories of mine point out that there’s really not a whole lot a woman can do and being paranoid about it isn’t going to help. Some societies simply allow for their men to be teased by strangers, accepting that some Mages, especially newly awakened ones, can’t help but pull pranks and test their powers.

Likewise, some women are willing to share a man with their friends, with the new popular wisdom that “it’s only cheating if he cums.” Hardcore Queendoms, alternatively, don’t tend to even consider men worth anything beyond their use as sex toys and power utilities, and thus you’re hard pressed to find a woman who wants a specific man intensely enough to protect him beyond how a person might protect a trophy pet, at best.

A man who finds himself caught between two women really can’t do anything about it, regardless of how he feels. The Magic doesn’t care about people’s emotions or relationships beyond raw sexual attractions, and its functions aren’t affected by such things.

4 - I’m really not good with long-form stories, or I would have probably made a few novellas detailing such a story. There are hints and allusions to such phenomenon in other stories, but it’s not something I have enough of a narrative for.

Nice and friendly women are all well and good, and I’ve tried previously to make sure I balance the number of stories between kind and cruel, but frankly, mean makes me hard more often out of the two, and most of my Little Scenes are based in that. So that’s why the majority of the stories by now deal with evil bitches.

Anyway, thanks for the thorough response!

So if I chop my balls off will I be affected?

@Anon3

LOL, you know, that question never gets old.

Yes, Sex Magic will affect you even if you hack off your genitals and take libido suppressors. The power will regrow the organs and force-start your sex drive. Its a cheating bitch of a powerset, and there is no cheap and easy way out of it.

AnonymousAnonymousover 6 years ago

Thanks for the answer but it just sparked more curiosity. So I can legit become a torso and head and the magic will regrow that? What about suicide?

@Anon3

Sex Magic is designed to keep the user and target alive and relatively sane through superhuman feats of sex, and this healing power translates to truly miraculous recovery capabilities.

You can read more about it on my blog, under Settings and Concepts Articles under Sex Mage World category: https://sexmagesandotherstrangeness.blogspot.com/p/sex-mage-world.html

Yes, you can kill yourself as a Final Solution, and a lot of people already did in the early years of the timeline. However, unless you do it right, even that might not "save" you, and moreover, its easy enough for women to put "no kill" commands in men's brains so that they can't even physically try or mentally conceive of it.
