Pages 1-14 are enjoyable and show development in a reasonably steady fashion. Page 15 adds nothing, feels tangential, reduces my respect for the 'DC savvy' of the protag and the business acumen of the heroine, and has a hurried 'lives happily ever after' ending!

Good story, but would have been easier if broken up and submitted as separate chapters. A long read, especially if you have to remember the title so that you can dip in again.

Seemed to run out of ideas at the end and you could have brought Faye more into the business.

I agree 101% with another comment - 15 pages is awful. I search by phrases and somewhere in these 15 pages is the phrase I want?? No way - too many other authors not this inconsiderate of the reader.
