The sorrowful plight of Penny is highlighted in this dramatic chapter, which is a real tear-jerker, full of tenderness and lovingkindness. Indeed, throughout this story, the author carefully and skillfully retains a romantic feel, even when it is very much in the background. The occasional spelling error in this chapter cannot take away from the fact that this is superb story telling.
