Picking up on Huedogg2 comment about fighting for your children, I know there are variations of divorce in the U.S. because of state autonomy but I think they are much the same as in the U.K., a wronged husband in on the back foot straight away, you have to show a mother to be a very bad parent and it not be in the children's interest for them to be with her to gain custody. My sister was stashing money in a separate bank account at her and her husbands bank while preparing to separate from him. Her name was the only one on the account and he went into the bank one day to take some money and the teller said "which account". He then drained that account on her. Everything about this tale was great: the initial setup, the backstory, the discovery, the plotting, the emotional hurt, the final revenge, the idiotic pleading of the wife... just great.

It's one of the more memorable stories here. Plenty of angst in just a few pages, but Jack was a man of action and took care of business quickly.
