My.... Well, you said Chap 9 would shake up the Overseer - shook up many things! Hmmmmm. One wonders - what's up with Durrah and what caused this outburst? (And how many chapters will we have to wait to find out-lol?)

Very well written and kept the tension high.

This is actually what got me into the story--not so much that Durrah was such an ass, but that EVERYONE took action to stop her, and no one went further than they had to. I like seeing that everyone is protected here, and that violence--actual violence, not painplay--isn't condoned. It makes this whole story feel safe and secure.
