I love stories where some planned revenge or humiliation backfires.

This is an amazing story. Brilliantly paced, and such a great ending haha!

At least Jo made it into the morning papers!

As much fun as it would have been if Yvette had suffered some kind of public humiliation, it was very thrilling to see Jo's risqué gamble backfire so spectacularly. I can't help but feel she got what she deserved - not only because of how disproportionate her planned revenge would have been to the game that started it all, but also because of how obnoxious and self-absorbed she is. No doubt a lot of her fellow volleyball players revelled in seeing her dash across the court completely naked in full view of the hundreds of spectators and put on display across the morning papers like that (thanks to which everyone in Jo's life would eventually get to see what she looks like with no clothes on). Total humiliation indeed!
