Just one small thought: it didn't feel right (to me), having a sex scene with Pat in the hospital and Buddy recently dead. Kind of a jarring change in perspective. (My two cents).

You are a really good story-teller. This is a gripping tale and has me totally involved even tho the reason I'm reading this in the first place is because of the sexual episodes, but I'm being grabbed by the rest of the story as well.

But — back to the pornography . . .

When a sitcom adds extra characters you know thats when its in trouble. Adding suprise characters is a really bad idea.

I have to say, though, that the scene where different people all stood up to the school bully was a little bit "After School Special." Still, I liked the point you were making, and remember wishing that stuff like that happened in real life.<br><br>
