I'll keep that in mind. It was kind of off-putting, even to me, but it was meant to teach him a lesson. But possibly the lesson could have been taught another way. Not sure how though.

Thanks for taking the time to comment. I do appreciate it. This series is not for everyone, but what is? I'm up to part 25 and they're longer than they have been. Not sure how many to go, but I expect I'm not half done yet. There should be something every day for quite a while.

'Rondezvous' hardly makes anybody likely to want to read your story. Unless 'rendezvous' has gone out of use where you live?
