This story quite literally takes my breath away. The writing is sharp and concise, the characters well rounded and appealing. The plot is fantastic and the pacing just perfect! I love absolutely everything about this story. I so can't wait to read the next chapter.

Love the suspense and curves you throw at us to keep us guessing. I have no sure feeling where this going to end up, but can't wait to get there!

... and intrigued. I am concerned about the power of the King. He seems so powerfull that the bad guy (Raynault) doesn't have a chance. I hate it when a protagonist is so perfect and powerfull that the antagonist seem like a bafoon in comparison. But I am also intrigued by the complications with King Reynar wanting both Jon and Raynault dead, Reynault wanting both Jon and the king dead, and who knows at this point what John wants. It is like a three way chess match, with the whole world at stake.

what a fun line! It seems funny that my favorite part in a riveting, well-written story is toast. It is. I'm funny..and good with that. Well done!
