This beach is about the only nude beach in the NYC area that is usually hassle-free from the beach ranger patrols. After the last patrols around 5 or 6, I have occasionallly seen a few exhibitionists have sex right out in the open, usually attracting an audience of voyeurs such as myself. Over the 25 years I've gone there, every 3-4 years, I luck out and get invited in on a 3-some. One time, I saw a couple taking pictures of each other and offered to photograph both of them together. One thing led to another and they eventually asked me to video them having sex. In relation to this story, I've been going to the nude section of Smith Point Beach since 1987 solo as well as with several of my girlfriends over the years. Your story themes involving this and a couple of other beaches out in eastern Suffolk Cty bring back dozens of pleasant and pleasurable memories. It was a place with so few people there that often, after 5 or 6pm when the beach patrols quit, had a free-for-all atmosphere. Over the years, this beach was the oceanfront playground I brought many of my girlfriends to. Many a great time was had there. Since some of my girlfriends were also into "the lifestyle", I've met countless other like-minded folks out there and had a number of FMF 3 ways as well as 4 ways and daisy-chain group sex. My record was 6 couples playing together out in the open up by the duneline. Sadly, the severe damage from Hurricane Sandy has ended the practice of nudity on Fire Island and the storm also opened up a new breach out by Old Inlet that may simply be left open, much like how Moriches Inlet was formed by the 1938 hurricane. So, it appears that my beloved nude beach is all but gone in it's old form.
