"Thanks. Yeah, I'll call you as soon as I can." She took my keys and departed quickly. It was only after she was out the door that I remembered my two o'clock appointment downtown with Glenda. And I soon remembered something else important, too.
"Yes, sir?" Jaycee said in answering her phone.
"You have my permission to remove your little present, my darling."
"Now you tell me," she responded. "I may not have the opportunity for awhile."
"Not my problem," I chuckled and ended the call.
