Nobody wants to go home. Even a moron declares bankruptcy and finds a new job. Sell the car before it gets repossessed. Finance guys are smarter than this dummy. Find a new job in a smaller market, learn your lesson and move on. Going home and cutting grass is hardly an option. And no self respecting woman, upon finding out what he had done and was doing, touches him with a ten foot pole. Even for a fictional story this was simply ludicrous.
